PERUVIAN MARKETPLACE

Join us on Sunday, July 28th for a celebration of Peru's Independence Day. Festive, live music will fill the patio with a featured Latin artisan. An array of Peruvian small plates will be available for you to choose from including a Cebiche & Causa station, Anticucho station, Empanada station, Criollo Station, and Dessert station. There will also be a dedicated bar with a pisco-focused menu to also celebrate Pisco Day! Ticket price per adult is $49 to include four vouchers for your choice of specialty dish or drink. A cash bar will be available for additional food and beverage purchases.

In keeping with the celebration, local designer, Laura Gelvez of Candelario will be on-hand to showcase her "unique, eccentric, and offbeat" jewelry line hand-assembled with love and available for purchase. Her thoughtful hand-crafted pieces are eco-friendly and incorporate recycled materials into her work.

Alpaca Fashion will also be featuring the textile tradition in Peru is perhaps the richest and most antique of our pre-Hispanic past, not only for its exquisite workmanship and the beauty of its form, but also for its documented wealth. In a society lacking a defined written history and profoundly ritualized, the fabrics were one of the most complete communicational instruments. Throughout thousand of years, Andean cultures have been developing extraordinary raw materials perfecting the techniques to create fine textiles, which are proudly brought to you by Alpaca Fashion.

We hope to see you there!
