Private Dining

A clean minimalist décor preserves the beauty of this classic building with an added Peruvian flare. Enter the historic Pier 1½ lobby to find multiple lounges, an expansive dining room and a waterfront patio overlooking Treasure Island. The entire venue can be reserved exclusively for a cocktail style event for up to 490 guests, a formal seated dinner for up to 230 guests or a combination of the two.

Our patio is located on the waterfront with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay and Treasure Island. Enjoy the sunset at cocktail party for up to 150 guests, a formal seated dinner of up to 100 guests or a combination of the two.

The Patio can be customized to meet your requests, set with a satellite bar, high top tables and lounge furniture for cocktail parties or elegant dinner tables private dining. Weather permitting, the Patio can be fully enclosed and heated within moments.

Our colorful lounge located to the left of the main entry way offers an intimate cocktail setting while overlooking the liveliness of the dining room and the cebiche bar. This area can be reserved exclusively for a cocktail party of up to 60 guests or a non-exclusive section for smaller groups of fifteen and above.

Our semi-private Chef’s table is located in the North corner of the restaurant, seating up to twenty-two guests maximum. Guests enjoy beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay while dining along our waterfront windows. Try our Chef’s tasting menu for a custom, colorful dining experience.

La Mar is a beautiful place for Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners and Showers.

    La Mar San Francisco – Thursday, June 15

    As Acurio’s right-hand-man for over two decades, La Mar San Francisco’s Executive Chef Victoriano Lopez welcomes him to the last stop of his tour. The duo will offer the following two options for San Franciscans:

    • 6:30pm: Cocktail reception with Peruvian appetizer stations and live Latin music; all-inclusive tickets available for $129
    • 7:00pm: VIP option for six-course dinner prepared by Lopez and Acurio at La Mar’s exclusive Chef’s Table with beverage pairings and wines selected by Master Sommelier Emmanuel Kemiji included ($250)

  • 5/25 5.30pm – PISCO MASTER CLASS BY DIEGO LORET DE MOLA

    On Thursday, May 25, La Mar invites guests to mix and mingle with BarSol Pisco Owner and Producer Diego Loret De Mola for an educational and hands-on mixology class demonstrating how to re-create the restaurant’s renowned Pisco Sours and Pisco-inspired craft cocktails. Guests will enjoy La Mar’s signature Pisco cocktails while learning about the history of pisco, tasting profiles, and recipes – with bites prepared by Executive Chef Victoriano Lopez.

    All-inclusive tickets must be purchased in advance for $35. The class runs from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in La Mar’s bar.
